We offer an online matching service for neurons that are not included in our database (refer to the EM-FC Matching page). Researchers can upload the SWC file of a neuron image (see example files below) obtained through optical imaging, with spatial positions defined according to standard brain coordinates as outlined in FlyCircuit. Our MorphoMatcher is capable of identifying up to five potential candidate neurons from the FlyEM database. However, please note that there may be fewer than five candidates if the match scores fall below the established criteria. This limitation arises from the incomplete nature of the FlyEM database, as neurons obtained through different experimental setups in various fruit fly specimens may exhibit significant variations. We will continue to update the available neuronal information in the near future.
